Very excited to announce a SXSW showcase for Weds. March 14th at Valhalla in Austin, Texas. This will be my first time playing SXSW and it's my BIRTHDAY! woot. come say hi if you're out that way.

Had a great ol time playing with the yawpers and onward soldiers this weekend. good couple of bands.

Wow, Fort Collins

Had an absolute BLAST this Saturday in Fort Collins debuting "Oh Oh" with Danielle Ate the Sandwich. Danielle was amazing and Everyday Joe's is sure to become my favorite hang when i'm in town. I can't wait to make more music with Danielle and return to Everyday Joe's next month with Sarah Siskand! March 23rd!

As if things couldn't get any better, turned out my dear friends Head for the Hills were headling a sold out show that same night at the Aggie Theater! So after Everday Joe's cleared out, I packed up my banjo and headed over to pick some tunes with my favorite bluegrass band. What a great night, audience and band.

Thanks again Fort Collins, couldn't have had a better introduction and I can't wait to head back next month!

Canada, Denver, Kentucky, NYC

Just returned from Toronto where I performed at a showcase for SonaBLAST records in conjunction with the Toronto International Film Festival. Oh yea, I forgot to mention that I signed a record deal with SonaBLAST Records. They're a bunch of swell folks and I'm proud to be working with them to release "Oh Oh". Oh yea, that's the name of my new record, "Oh Oh". It'll be out soon, like, in a few weeks, and I'll be giving away a track right here on my this site very soon so check back.

This Saturday the 17th I'll be playing solo at Swallow Hill Music, which is my new teaching home(you may recognize the faces on their homepage). come find me there.

Next week I'll be flying south to perform at Nulu Fest in Louisville Kentucky. It's the afterparty for Idea Fest, which is neat. I'll be playing solo, and sharing the stage with a bunch of my SonaBLAST friends. neat. neat.

Then in October I'll head over to NYC to play a showcase for CMJ at Rockwood Music Hall(Oct. 20th). I'll also be joing my old pal Will Knox on stage for his CMJ showcase later that night and next door. seriously.

we stand at a threshold friends, well, I do for certain.

I'm very ready for you to hear.
